The experimental spirit and jazzy, rock-influenced subculture of the 1960s live on in the music of Jeff Mezzrow. Whether through blues and soul-infused groove music or jazz rock, guitarist/singer Jeff Mezzrow delivers a truly lively performance that captivates audiences, breaks down inhibitions, and liberates people. Amen! After spending his youth in Chicago's notorious South Side, Mezzrow left his hometown in 1972 and has been “on the road” with his music in the US and Europe ever since. In 2004, he settled in Berlin to perform with the Blue Man Group. He mixes R&B with blues and jazz, finding his unique style of singing and playing guitar. He works with Jimmy Somerville and The Drifters, among others.
